Rusty Cage - 2019

This is the second vintage of this wine and has been caged up for the last two and a half years waiting to be set free.  It is our "Right Bank Bordeaux Styled" red blend that won over many hearts upon it's inaugural release, and once again leverages the full spectrum of what the Red Mountain AVA has to offer.  This vintage leads with cherry, chocolate, and coffee flavors with hints of cigar box and pencil lead.  It is composed of 45% Stanton Vineyard Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot and finished with 10% Syrah.  It spent 24 months in French oak (15% New, 55% Used, 30% Neutral) and the last 6 months prior to release in bottle.
